Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘A Better Tomorrow’ May Be Delayed

According to a recent interview from RZA, ‘A Better Tomorrow’ may be pushed back, if Raekwon doesn’t cooperate. Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘A Better Tomorrow’ May Be Delayed

There has been trouble behind the scenes of Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming release, A Better Tomorrow. Although they’ve gotten press recently for a single-copy album that’ll be sold to the highest bidder, they’ve had A Better Tomorrow in the works for some time.

However, it emerged last year that some members weren’t contributing as much as others or hadn’t even spent time in the studio. Others, as well, expressed they weren’t happy with RZA’s direction, with Raekwon being the latest to do so.

He told Rolling Stone: “The bottom line: I’m not happy with that. I’m not happy with the direction of the music and I’m not happy with how dudes is treating dudes’ business. What are we giving the fans? What are we giving the people that help us be here? If it don’t feel right, I can’t be fake. And I’m not the only one who feels like that. Fans want the best and I have to sit here and work that hard to give them the best. Period.”

Since that point, RZA went on SI Now Live to explain that Raekwon needs to get his act together, or else A Better Tomorrow may be pushed back from its July release date. Watch below:
