Willow Smith Covers Adele's 'Skyfall' (Video)
Besides launching her own fashion blog coined “i’art des chiffons (the art of the rags, per BET) this month, Willow Smith took some time out to cover Adele’s theme song, ‘Skyfall’, from the forthcoming James Bond flick. Seen through a web cam is the young 11-year old Smith announcing that she will be singing just the chorus, “Because that’s all I know.”
With a laid back demeanor, Smith breaks into song, managing a booming voice while bringing that air of sadness. Just before the close of the chorus the little singer pauses on the keys before ending the video with a huge smile.
After releasing the home made video on October 19th, it looks like Willow has scored positive reviews across the board. The ‘Skyfall’ track, per EW, will accompany the latest James Bond film with the same name that will hit theaters on November 9th. The song was co-written by Adele, along with Joel Pott and Paul Epworth.
