Willie Nelson Cancels Concert Due To Health
Country music singer Willie Nelson made his way to a local hospital in the Denver area this past Saturday after having trouble breathing. Nelson’s health issues has caused him to cancel his appearance at a fund raising concert for the Dumb Friends League in Castle Pines Village.
Fans at the concert waiting to see Nelson perform were notified that the artist wouldn’t be making an appearance because he was "suffering from breathing problems due to the high altitude and emphysema," an event organizer shared with the crowd as confirmed by 9News. His back-up singers and band did however make it to the event.
The 79-year old singer has since said to have checked into the hospital according to reports with the hopes that his stay will be short-lived. Other details surrounding the star’s current health situation are slim with his rep's yet to update fans of his health status.
