"Wide Awake" Video Review

Katy Perry premiered a new video “Wide Awake” for the song she released in order to promote her upcoming biographical movie “Katy Perry: Part Of Me”. The film is going to be released on July 4 and will show the last two years of Katy Perry’s life.

“It’s kind of like the labyrinth of my life in the last two years. I just wanted to tell a story about myself kind of going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze. There’s good parts, there’s bad parts, and the whole time there’s the younger version of me leading me through.”

“Wide Awake” is a song (like all her recent releases) that describes her feelings after the divorce from comedian Russel Brand.
