Vanessa Lachey Talks About Pregnancy Belly

Any woman who has been pregnant knows that the first time is definitely a learning experience, especially when it comes to her changing body.  Nick Lachey’s wife, Vanessa, is due sometime this September and she’s clearly fascinated with her burgeoning belly.

The 31-year-old first-time mom told Bethenny Frankel (on her talk show Bethenny): "Everyone's belly button is different. Some women's belly buttons pop and some women's [don't].  I thought, 'Oh, I wouldn't mind if it popped because then it would be like the turkey's done, right?' And it's cute but my stylist was like, 'You don't want that to pop. That's like having a third nipple.' "

She’s now become so paranoid that she said: "Every time I sneeze, I hold my belly button in. For some reason, I think I'm going to sneeze it out."

Poor girl! I hope that she will be comfortable with it if it does pop out. I think she would be, though, considering what she said about the overall experience.

"I love everything about being pregnant," she says. "It's empowering as a woman to be able to go through this process and create a human being."
