Upcoming Paramore Album to Feature Live Strings
Paramore, as we’ve seen from sporadic updates, have been in the studio putting together a new release. More recently, singer Hayley Williams revealed the upcoming album, the follow-up to 2009’s Brand New Eyes, will feature live strings.
Addressing her fans, Williams wrote: “Yesterday was such an incredible experience… For the first time in our history, we got to track live strings for our album. To make it even better, Roger Manning, Jr. composed all the parts and led the string section in the studio. Making this album has completely turned my idea of our band upside-down in the best way possible. I am so extremely grateful.”
Earlier in October, the red-haired singer called their upcoming release, which has no official deadline, an “answered prayer,” which she tweeted from inside the studio. Songwriting for it apparently began in January, although work unofficially seemed to start earlier in 2011, with the group entering the studio in April. Justin Meldal-Johnson has been producing and working with the group in Los Angeles.
On the other hand, Williams additionally revealed in the middle of October they may have the album complete in two weeks.
Since their last release dropped, Paramore went through a significant change. Two of its founding members, Josh and Zach Farro, decided to call it quits and left the group. Do you think it was a wise decision they left? What do you think Paramore’s fourth album will sound like?
