Daniel Merriweather isn't the only international success story in Australian RnB. Perth's Samantha Jade is, like Che'nelle, waiting in the wings. And she's hoping that Turn Around will be her breakout hit.

The model-come-singer relocated to sunny California four years ago. Today she’s aligned with Jive, the label behind Justin Timberlake and, perhaps less auspiciously, Britney Spears. Life in Los Angeles clearly suits the vivacious Australian.

The first single, Turn Around, is on US radio now, with Jade's debut album to be released later in the year.
