Train are gearing up for their next album, titled Bulletproof Picasso. The album is expected by fall, and the group started promoting it this week with new single “Angel In Blue Jeans.”

For the group that scored hits with “Drops of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels,” and “Hey Soul Sister” over the past 10 years, “Angel in Blue Jeans” follows the same pattern and style. Listen to the clip below. What do you think?

Material from Picasso started appearing on their last tour, Mermaids of Alcatraz in support of 2012’s California 37. However, at the time, Pat Monahan explained he wanted to polish up the tracks: "I’m going to spend the whole fall tightening up what I started and creating everything that I’ve wanted to. San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Nashville will be the main places I’ll write it".

Listeners could end up hearing something entirely different. We’ll have to wait and see.

California 37, which spawned “Hey Soul Sister,” reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band officially announced its follow up on May 5, 2014, with a tweet about the new title.

However, for Picasso, member Scott Underwood left as of last week, although he appears on all album tracks.
