Toby Keith Releases Lyric Video For 'I Like Girls That Drink Beer'

Toby Keith has released his latest booze-fueled single, titled I Like Girls That Drink Beer.

Typically country music, the song tells the story of a man who no longer enjoys the company of his so-called lady love. He wants out. Enough is enough, no longer can he stand the shallow life of his rich lady friend and her high society things, as he sings: "You can keep your mansion and your money/ Your boat and your bands and your uptown friends/ And your country club that ain't really country."

He then goes on to describe what he really wants is some good loving rather than all the fancy things that money can buy. More than anything he wants what money can't buy: he wants genuine companionship.

The single is not really about beer, even though the lyric video cleverly displays most of the words to the song on the labels of beer bottles. One could be led to believe Toby Keith has an alcohol problem! But no, he just wants someone to talk with, who shares the same values and does the things he does. There is no place in his world for the high life, hob-nobbing with "who's who" and being seen with somebody who is believed to be important and rich.

No, Toby Keith just wants to be himself with like-minded people.

"I Like Girls That Drink Beer" is another easy song with which to sing-a-long. Within a few short minutes, you find yourself joining in with the chorus. It's bound to become another bar-room favourite.
