TLC's T-Boz Getting a Reality Television Show

Now that there are just two remaining members, T-Boz will shed life into her solo life. TLC's T-Boz Getting a Reality Television Show

According to reports, it looks like Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins is getting her own reality TV show.  The performer is one third of the popular 90s girl group, TLC.  Funny enough, the show will be broadcast on the TLC network.

This surprising news comes with a good amount of details already.  Here’s what we know:  four episodes of the show have been ordered, it will be called “Totally T-Boz” and it will come to the small screen sometime next year.  Of course, Watkins must be happy and relieved to have this opportunity arise at such a tough time since she had to file for bankruptcy last year.

While it’s true that TLC is the best-selling female R&B group of all time, things haven’t been easy for them since the sudden and tragic death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who was killed in a car accident in 2002.

Since then, Watkins has been trying to make it work as a single mother and has been doing all that she can to hang on to her dwindling music career.  In the meantime, she’s also been dealing with some major health issues since being diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor back in 2006.  The 42-year-old was so debilitated that she had to learn how to walk and talk all over again.

There’s no word yet on whether the other surviving member, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas will also appear on the show but they have expressed their interest in releasing new material as a duo sometime in the near future.
