Tiesto Collaborates with Allure on “Pair of Dice”
Over the past few years, Tiesto has put out a series of collaborations with other electronic and pop artists. These range from working with Tegan and Sara and Nelly Furtado on his last full studio album Kaleidoscope to doing production collaborations with Diplo on “C’mon” and Wolgang Gartner on this year’s “We Own The Night.”
His latest effort, out on October 8, is a dual-production track with protégé Allure. Unlike his other team efforts, on the other hand, Allure was once Tiesto’s project. For some background, Tiesto and a revolving door of collaborators worked as Allure since 1998. Last year, with the project still under Tiesto’s control, Allure put out album Kiss from the Past. Former Allure vocalists, including Christian Burns, JES, and Emma Hewitt, appeared on the album. In the past, Burns worked with Tiesto on single “In The Dark.”
However, over the past year, Tiesto decided to step away from the project and, instead, appointed a different producer as the face for Allure. Now, the new Allure teamed with Tiesto on “Pair of Dice.”
“Pair of Dice” comes out on Musical Freedom, Tiesto’s latest label effort. The song has “club anthem” written all over it. The teaser video, which has a one-minute clip of the track, already has 150,000 hits on YouTube. Listen to the build and catchy synth line, accompanied by clips of Tiesto and Allure, below. Will “Pair of Dice” turn into the fall’s club hit?
