"The Woman You Love" Video Review
Ashanti premieres the first video after she left the Murder Inc crew, produced by Sean Coles. The “The Woman You Love” song was produced by Jerry Wonda and features Busta Rhymes.
The video begins with a text message “As a tortured soul floats into the future, the only way to heal is to accept and let go of the past.” inspired from the 1995 movie “Braveheart”, featuring Mel Gibson. The clip is split between the scenes between Ashanti and her man (played by actor Marcus Patrick) after she finds photos of another woman in his phone, and scenes with the artist in a futuristic décor.
The song will be included on Ashanti’s upcoming fifth album “Braveheart” (also inspired by the movie) that will be released under her own label Written Entertainment.
