The Weekly Gossip Roundup: June 15, 2012

It’s Friday which means we’ve made to the end of another week.  Here’s a look back at the stories you might have missed during your daily hustle and bustle.

Earlier this week, we learned that Lady Gaga was hit by a pole at one of her concerts. She’s expected to make a full recovery but it must have taken a lot to get through the rest of that show!

After an almost complete withdrawal from the spotlight, D’angelo gave a live performance (gasp!).

Miley Cyrus shocked the world when she announced that, at the ripe old age of 19, she is, indeed, engaged to be married to her 22 year-old fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.  This week, she was given some very public advice from both Carrie Underwood and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Adele proved that she is still the queen of the charts after her album, 21, actually returned to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200.

Even though the movie hasn’t even been released, there is talk of adapting Whitney Houston’s final film, Sparkle, into a Broadway musical.  Would you see it?

What weekly gossip roundup would be complete without something involving Rihanna and Chris Brown?  Not only have there been rumors that RiRi might need to check herself into rehab to curb some of her partying, but Brown ended up in an actual bar fight with Drake and his entourage (and the brawl was allegedly about her!).  Can these two stay out of trouble?  Hardly.  Rihanna rolled up at a NYC hotspot with a new man and, of course, Chris Brown and his crew were already inside!
