The Wanted Parties (Again) in Video for “We Own The Night”
While One Direction is busy playing dress up, The Wanted have a fun night out on the town in their latest music video for “We Own The Night.”
Following “Walks Like Rihanna,” “We Own The Night” is the latest single off their upcoming album, Word of Mouth, and seems to – so far – be getting the most promotion in the United States. The video surfaced on their Vevo account on August 11.
In the same vein as “Glad You Came” but in a different location, “We Own The Night” has the five-piece partying it up at an English pub and spending time with some girls. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but the visuals and the music make you have a good time.
To promote “We Own The Night” and Word of Mouth, the group performed this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Their August 14 performance not only included their latest single but also their 2012 summer hit, “Glad You Came” – perhaps a reminder after subsequent singles didn’t garner as much buzz in the U.S.
Word of Mouth comes out stateside on September 16 and is their first international release. Are you excited, or are the boy band’s 15 minutes of fame up on this side of the pond?
