The two ultimate names in modern rock music, U2 and Green Day, have teamed up to record a studio version of ’The Saints Are Coming’, produced by Rick Rubin. The single is released in aid of Music Rising, a charity funded to work with musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the Gulf Region. The track is taken from U2’s forthcoming collection album ’U2: 18’.
