The Foo Fighters have released “The Pretender,” their first single off Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
As might be expected from a Foo single, "The Pretender" is coiled with Grohl's patented dynamic shifts (soft, loud, soft, loud, lift-off) and adrenaline-upping.
It's one of the Foos' most vibrant rockers to date, as well as one of their most political, hinting at hidden agendas, secrecy and ignorance.
