The Killers Release 'Runaways' Music Video
The Killers have unleashed their first music video for their new single 'Runaways'. The song comes off of the band's upcoming fourth studio album, 'Battle Born'. Seen in the artistic clip is front man Brandon Flowers dressed in black while he sings the love song amid a backdrop filled with starry skies, clouds and miles of highway.
The new track and the forthcoming songs set to accompany it are highly anticipated since The Killers went on hiatus back in 2010. With their last album 'Day & Age' released back in 2008 fans have been patiently waiting to welcome the guys and their talents back into the fold.
While 'Battle Born' isn't due to hit shelves until September 18th, as confirmed by Contact Music, followers of the group can rest assured that the new collection will hold the same brilliance and style as the last three studio albums released by The Killers.
“We've already done some recording. We've done a little bit with Brendan O'Brien and now we're sneaking in some time with Steve Lillywhite. We're not looking to go and make some drastic change or throw a curveball," Flowers shared with Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 show earlier this year.
“I think the consensus in the band is: let's take the things we have already done and really hone in on that. We don't want to make Hot Fuss 2, Sam's Town 2 or another Day & Age, but we may take the best of all of that stuff and really do what we know how to do. It's definitely a Killers record.”
