The Jonas Brothers’ Album ‘V’ Won’t Ever Get Finished
Bad news, Jonas Brothers fans: The three revealed that their latest album V won’t ever see the light of day.
After making their breakup official since canceling their tour, the three brothers went on Good Morning America to talk about the split.
While an album was in progress as of last year, the former boy band has decided to not finish it. Kevin said during his interview: "The album will actually not be completed. We're going to release four unreleased songs from the album. The rest of the album will be never released."
But, while the three had their disagreements on tour and in the studio, splitting up was still a difficult decision. Nick explained: "I said, 'Look, I feel like we've had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them.’ It was a tough conversation… [and there were] a few days of working through it."
Joe then added: "It was starting to get stale to us."
To thank the fans, the band will put out a few tracks from the album as singles.
The group’s heyday was the late 2000s, with their last full-length release being Line, Vines and Trying Times in 2009. Since that point, all three embarked on solo careers of varying success, as well as a few reality TV stints.
What’s your perspective on the Jonas Brothers’ split? Should they have at least completed their last album?
