"The Angry Mob" Video Review
"The Angry Mob" is a song by English rock band Kaiser Chiefs and is the title track to their second album, Yours Truly, Angry Mob. The name "The Angry Mob" is also the name of the band's fanclub and is possibly the inspiration for the band's blog. The song will be released in the UK as the third single from Yours Truly, Angry Mob on August 20, 2007.
The video was first shown at 11pm, July 23 on Channel 4. It depicts the hen-night culture, culminating in two separate parties comming together in a "gang war" style fight. It was shot in Romania and was directed by Wiz (Dizzee Rascal 'Sirens', Kasabian 'Empire').
The single will come with special artwork created by Dandy/Beano artist Nigel Parkinson, and features caricatures of the band with various Beano characters. People can pre-order a special 7" single containing a exclusive Beano poster.
"The Angry Mob" is sure to be shouted along to by exactly the people it's targeting.
