"That Should Be Me" is the result of pop singer Justin Bieber and country music band Rascal Flatts duet from Justin's "Never Say Never - The Remixes". The genre crossing was explained by Bieber, "Music is music, and it's a universal language. It doesn't really matter what style, as long as it appeals to others and people like it, that's all that really matters."
The most ecstatic fans of the collaboration were Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox 10 and 6-year-old daughters. "My dad's doing a duet with Justin Bieber, and I DO have Bieber fever!" Brittany told The Boot.
"My kids think the only thing I've done is 'Cars,' the 'Hannah Montana' movie, and now the duet with Justin Bieber," the singer jokes, "I've done three things in ten years!".
