"Text" Video Review

"Text" is his new video. It's off his upcoming album Mann's World and features vocals from Jason Derulo.

The song has a special significance for Mann, who is sure that listeners will gravitate toward the cut. “Nobody really talks on the phone anymore, or they despise talking on the phone,” he says. “A lot of people I know don’t even have the phone feature on their phone anymore. They just text. It’s so much easier, so everybody’s going to feel the song.” - Mann

Is it still a phone if the "phone feature" isn't there? Oh well, we're dealing with a song based on the logic that texts are better than phone calls because it's sexier to not have to actually speak to the person you're with.

We also have a contender for worst lyric of the year as Mann raps "and I'm eatin' breakfast, never gettin' restless/Like I live in Dallas the way i'm readin' Texas" See what he did there, Texas/texts. Well anyway... we're waiting for your comments on this one!
