"Summertime Sadness" Video Review

Lana Del Rey premiered another vintage-looking video for her latest “Summertime Sadness”. This is not the first VHS-looking video Lana released; she also used it for “Blue Jeans”, “Video Games” and “Born To Die”.

For the “Summertime Sadness” video Lana Del Ray hired a professional actress – Jaime King to play her lesbian lover. The video directed by Jaime’s husband Kyle Newman and Spencer Susser tells the sad love story between the two, ending with the suicide of Jaime King.

At the moment it’s not clear if “Summertime Sadness” will be released as the next single from Lana Del Rey’s debut album “Born To Die”, since she already premiered this month “National Anthem” as a single.
