"Stepping To The Beat" Video Review

Looks like one to avoid (and generally is) with its throwaway Euro-vocal but if you check out the pounding Event Remix and pitch it down a fair bit you’ve got yourself a nifty little track. The kick drums throb, the bongos bounce atop and the intense siren-like synth sounds sound a little dated but still manage to build up the intensity well. The vocal is kept to a minimum The beats get a techy tint and a huge scuzzy bassline leaps in like a mosquito to bring the filth factor up. It’s dirty funky house that’s not saying anything new but will definitely work on the floor.
