Should Justin Bieber Have to Worry About His Cell Phone?
On Wednesday, detectives arrived with a search warrant at the door of Justin Bieber’s Calabasas mansion. 11 detectives, along with Lt. David Thompson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, searching the property took Bieber’s phone, and now the pop star is concerned they’ll find pictures of him nude and doing drugs. After all, rapper Lil Za was also arrested for having drugs out in the open at the time.
Concerning taking Bieber’s phone, Lt. Thompson explained they aren’t after nude photos but rather video and other evidence from the egging incident that caused law enforcement to come by in the first place: “We’re looking for images or information related to the egging. Nothing else is getting out. It’s safe in the hands of law enforcement.”
Meanwhile, although Lil Za’s taken to Twitter to talk about how he was targeted for his skin color, the police are looking through video from Bieber’s security system, which is far more extensive than the neighbor’s, and also from footage sent to TMZ of the alleged incident.
Meanwhile, neighbors told the New York Daily News that Bieber’s egg attack truly resulted in $20,000 worth of damage, as the neighbor had Venetian plaster and a wood exterior on his property. A source told the publication: “He’s a little punk head. He thinks these are funny pranks, but they’re not. Parties that go until 5 a.m. with the music blasting aren’t funny in a family-oriented neighborhood. He needs to own up to what he is doing. He’s got major issues.”
