'Shame On You' is Andrea’s first outing since family group The Corrs disbanded. While her brother and sister left music to start families, industrious Andrea began work on this fast-paced, pop-trance single. The song will undoubtedly sell well due to The Corrs' sizable following, though it is unlikely to satisfy anyone.

Fans of the early Corrs albums who had hoped this would be a return to Irish folk music will be sorely disappointed. "Shame On You" is very much the natural progression of the transformation her band made from folk singers into a more populist chart-bothering act. While this single is attempting to sound new and innovative, it's really a mismatch of old styles that come off sounding confused and cheesy.
