Shakira Shakes Baby Bump at Concert

Shakira recently revealed that she is going to be a mother for the first time but now the whole world has had the opportunity to fawn over her growing baby belly.

The singer took to the stage in Azerbaijan to perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Baku last night and she looked absolutely adorable!

Wearing a form-fitting black dress and some black leather leggings and wedge boots, she almost looked like an expectant superhero which, may have been a good thing, considering she was at the center of a major controversy.  Before her performance, Amnesty International and Sing for Democracy sent her a letter urging her to reconsider participating in a show in the country which is being accused of human rights violations.

In the letter, which was addressed to Shakira and Rihanna (who was also supposed to perform), Amnesty International wrote that they believed that the “Azerbaijani government should afford all artists, journalists, activists and ordinary citizens the right to express themselves freely without fear of reprisal. We hope that you share our belief."

Based on her performance, however, it was clear that Shakira had no political agenda in mind.  Instead, she later tweeted: "I felt awesome on stage! We really enjoyed tonight! Shak #Baku."

Regardless of the situation, fans were still delighted to see her and her cute belly dancing around the stage!
