"Self Control" Video Review
Soraya Arnelas Rubiales is a Spanish singer. She was born in Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain.
Soraya won the World Online Song Contest 10 (WOSC) for Spain with 141 points, with her song entitled Mi Mundo Sin Ti (My World without You). Her first album, Corazon De Fuego ("Heart of Fire"), was published in 2005. She also did an album with 80's covers, called Ochenta's (Eighties), and that was published in 2006. Soraya got the 2nd place in the reality show Operación Triunfo 2005 (Spanish Idol), edit by Telecinco.
Soraya studied at Nuestra Señora de los Remedios school and at Lostau Valverde High School. In Madrid, she learned English, French and Portuguese. She has worked as a flight attendant, but aspired to become an actress.
