Singer Sean Kingston, who is well-known for his tracks such as Beautiful Girls and Fire Burning, has been served a lawsuit Radar Online is reporting. King, who was handed a civil summons and a complaint that involves a woman who alleges he was involved in a gang attack against her.
The attack was said to have taken place back in 2010 after a concert when Sean Kingston was touring as the opening act with the young YouTube sensation Justin Bieber. Now roughly 2 years later the twenty-two year old Kingston has been issued papers issued to him by a California private investigator.
King was served at the Los Angeles airport just as he was getting off of a flight from Miami, Florida on March 16th. Radar Online attempted to ask the private investigator about the lawsuit against Sean Kingston but he declared “no comment”, stating that he "was at the airport on official business."
A statement has yet to be released by Kingston or his representatives. As pointed out by AOL, Kingston just recently dodged a lawsuit from Cassandra Sanchez. A woman who was part of the Memorial Day 2011 jet ski accident where Kingston was said to be recklessly driving.
Sanchez never filed, saying - "I know this whole thing was just an accident. I won't be pressing any type of charges or hiring a lawyer. Sean is a good guy."
