Ryan Tedder Reports Adele’s Upcoming Album is “Better Than Ever”
There has been talk of Adele putting together a follow-up to 21 since last year, and as of April, she has been in the studio. While the singer herself hasn’t talked about the album, Ryan Tedder, a co-writer for some of the material, spoke about her progress to the Herald Sun.
Speaking about the release, the One Republic member said: "Adele sounds even better than before. I love where she's at. She's still my favorite artist in the world. I would press pause on my entire life if it meant I could go into the studio for a month straight with her."
Few details have emerged about Adele’s upcoming album. When The Sun reported that she had entered the studio in April, a source had talked about the singer collaborating with James Ford and Kid Harpoon, both of whom previously worked with Florence and the Machine, Jesse Ware, and the Arctic Monkeys.
Along with this, other reports have claimed motherhood has influenced Adele, who gave birth to her son in fall 2012. Motherhood is said to be giving the singer a positive outlook with her new material, rather than the melancholy of 21. The release is expected to come out at some point in 2014.
What do you think Adele should do for her third album? Would you like her to keep the same vibe as 21, or should she do something different?
