After releasing his new track entitled ‘I Won’t Give Up’ this past January, artist Jason Mraz has now dropped his music video for the song that comes off of his upcoming studio album ‘Love Is A Four-Letter Word', as confirmed by Billboard.  Seen in the emotional video is a former marine dancing with his girlfriend, still enjoying life after losing a leg, crying babies, growing old, and more.

Speaking about his song, Mraz explained, “The story of the video is that we all have our stories.  We all have out own version of suffering….and everybody has many things to NOT give up on.”

Just this past weekend Mraz attended the 15th anniversary of the Sunset Sessions, an event he has performed at before, making time in his busy schedule to return.  While there he performed his new song to a swarm of very happy fans.  "He started right here with 'I'm Yours' four years ago and he really wanted to come back, so he flew in from New York," Patrick Pocklington, Mraz’s co-manager shared.

"This allows him to see a lot of his old friends who are music supervisors or work in radio”, and “will help get the buzz going for his new album, ‘Love Is A Four-Letter Word’, which comes out April 17^th.

LMFAO  has just released the music video for  "Sorry For Party Rocking", the sixth track from their second album sharing the same name.

The clip begins with the camera descending on a cardboard neihbourhood setting at night time. All looks quiet and peaceful except for a few remote beats and music. In the distance a cardboard house is seen with lights flashing in time with the music. Moving closer, it is realised that the peaceful neighbourhood is not going to be quiet tonight.

The beat of the music is now disturbed by the angry voice of an older gentleman dressed in a nightshirt. He is complaining to his wife, "They're at it again, Agnes!", but she has no sympathy as she argues that it's good for the kids to have some fun. So he goes off alone to try to stop the noise.

The next scene shows the party in the "cardboard" house. Young people are partying everywhere - in the house, on the upstairs' balcony, and on the grounds around the house. And fitting in with the cardboard houses theme, many of the party-goers are dressed with boxes on their heads and similar costumes. A huge blow-up zebra falls from the balcony, and subsequently features in  the clip many times - adding to this wacky story.

Further along, a complaint is phoned in to the police who do the right thing and investigate the complaint. But that is where the help from the law ends.

The clip is packed with brilliant dance moves - shuffling, breakdancing, and heaps of other acrobatic marvels.

Redfoo and SkyBlu have done it again, with a music video that compels being watched. At over seven minutes, it seems a long clip. But with the Party Rockers at the helm, it is one great clip.

LMFAO  -  "Sorry For Party Rocking"

It's been almost four years since Santigold came onto the scene with her self-titled debut (back when she was known as Santogold). Yesterday, she announced her new full-length album, Master of My Make Believe, will be released May 1 via Downtown/Atlantic.

The album will feature the already-released singles "Big Mouth" and "Disparate Youth." Recorded in Los Angeles, Jamaica, and New York, the singer told Billboard the album will be "sonically eclectic but with some epic curveballs thrown into the mix." She continued, "I wanted it to feel dynamic and powerful. I still have the songs that sound very electronic and clubby, but I have a couple ballads on this one - my own type of ballads, where they just sound big, like the way some old Kate Bush or Peter Gabriel songs were..."

While the singer admitted she had difficulty staying on the same page as her label to finish the album, the singer says she never compromised the vision of the album. "I wrote in the direction that [the label] were telling me, but secretly I kept writing in my own direction... At the end of the day,  nobody will hear anything but things that I feel 100 percent are great."

Until the album's release date, the singer will perform at SXSW and tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. She will also be featured on Amadou & Mariam's neww album, Folila, on the track "Dougou Badia."

Jay-Z may have alluded to MTV about a possible Watch the Throne follow-up due this year, but so far no official announcement have been made.

Until then, Jay-Z and Kanye West have announced the first round of dates on the European leg of their Watch the Throne tour - not a bad consolation. The 12-show run kicks off May 20 in London and runs through Scandinavia, Germany, and France, ending on June 13. Expect more shows to be announced.

No updates yet on Jay-Z's follow-up to his last solo release, 2009's The Blueprint 3. So far the rapper has confirmed that he has recorded two tracks for his 12th solo album and has potential ideas for four more tracks. It is also reported that Q-Tip and West are working on the album. 2012 is indeed the year to "Watch the Throne."

The rock group, The Pretty Reckless, have released a new music video in promotion of their track entitled ‘You’, as confirmed by Perez Hilton.  The single is their fourth track to be released from their debut album ‘Light Me Up’ that was released last year.  The mostly black and white video features lead singer and former Gossip Girls actress Taylor Momsen as she strums her guitar looking defeated after a break up of some sort.

But amazingly calm for the singer who recently spoke out about her penchant for super funky, stripper heels, that seems to be a staple in her on stage wardrobe.  Momsen, who usually commands most of the band’s attention with her risqué looks, shared that she has been in love with heels since her childhood.  “I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones,' she said.

"I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes. I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that’s funny. I’m 5’8”. So I’m really tall.  I got into heels when I was little, though. My mum’s really short so she always wears really tall heels and I used to steal them.”

In other news, The Pretty Reckless have revealed via Twitter that they are planning to tour with Marilyn Manson.  "The Pretty Reckless will be opening for @marilynmanson in the USA on his spring tour!! So excited!"  Their first performance with Manson will kick off on April 27th in Providence, Rhode Island.

Last night, a clip surfaced of Madonna’s “Girls Gone Wild,” a track produced by Benny and Ale Benassi. Through Twitter, manager Guy Oseary announced the song is the second single from MDNA, and a video shoot for it starts soon. He wrote: "The directors for 'Girls Gone Wild' video are Mert and Marcus... They also photographed MDNA album... "

Although “Girls Gone Wild” has no official release date, the lack of success “Give Me All Your Luvin’” had in the U.K. is said to be behind the quick push for a second single. “Give Me All Your Luvin’”, just weeks after Madonna’s Super Bowl performance, peaked at No. 10 in the U.S. and No. 37 on the U.K. charts. At one point, “Girls Gone Wild” was rumored to feature Britney Spears.

The tracks origins, however, begin at Ultra Music. At the time Benny Benassi was preparing to release his fourth album Electroman, label founder Patrick Moxey thought the Italian producer’s style would gel well with “major American superstar artists." Moxey requested Benassi and his cousin Ale produce a few tracks, which were then sent to Canadian songwriter Jenson Vaughan. Vaughan then sent the demo of “Give Me All Your Luvin’” to Oseary, and Madonna soon went to Italy to work with the Benassi brothers. Regarding the significant mark from Ultra, still considered an independent label, Moxey remarked to Billboard: "Obviously it's huge for us. We have both the producer and the top-line writer; that's 100% share."

Regarding the final outcome of the Benassi brothers’ production and Vaughan’s lyrics, Moxey mentioned: "I was really attracted to his lyrics, and I feel Benassi in my bones, because those bass-driven tracks are so inspiring. It's a bit like cooking, like, 'Ooh, what would this sound like together?'"

MDNA hits stores on March 26. Aside from “Girls Gone Wild,” “I’m Addicted” is another Benassi-produced track added to the album. Additionally, William Orbit, who worked with Madonna on Ray of Light, contributed five tracks and Martin Solveig (“Hello”) produced four.

Antony Bitar has just released the music video for "Sanctuary", a track from his self-titled debut album. Having walked away from his opera training, Antony now devotes all his time to song writing in his effort to make the world a better place. In his words, according to his website, "I'm being serious when I say...I hope to change the world with my music."

The video begins with a scene of rocks being submerged by the ocean as ripples flow over a small boulder. The view widens to show Antony sitting in a peaceful seascape setting singing the introduction to the song. Another view shows the hands of a pianist nearby as he plays the melody. Next scene shows Antony, in a reflective pose, sitting at a window ledge inside a city building. Further scenes show Antony singing in the city, or near the ocean shore, or just general scenes of nature.  

"Sanctuary" is a song about feeling safe. He sings about getting the strength and hope, because without them there is nowhere to go. It is a song about feeling good with oneself through concentrating on that place he calls "sanctuary". Some people find this "sanctuary" in their home while others find this inner peace in other ways or places.

It is a song about optimism and concentrating on the many positives that abound.

Antony Bitar has a magnificent voice. He reaches the high notes with the greatest of ease, and has no problems with the low sounds or any of the notes in between. All the training in opera singing has produced a magnificent performer.

Sanctuary is a one of those great songs, of hope, of optimism, of striving forward. Antony Bitar will appeal to many with his brilliant talent as a performer and song writer.

Last week, news surfaced of Chris Brown possibly collaborating on a new Rihanna track, “Birthday Cake.” Although no one said the news outright, remix producers Da Internz hinted at it. In describing the extended version of “Birthday Cake” (the original is a mere 78 seconds), the duo mentioned a “shocking” surprise guest, which many surmised to be Brown, although neither he nor Rihanna officially confirmed it.

MissInfo.tv went a bit further, getting confirmation from two independent sources. At the time, Brown was reported to be singing one verse and rapping another on the “Birthday Cake” remix. After the news broke, Rihanna allegedly shelved the track – contrary to Da Internz stating “Birthday Cake” would appear this week.

Both artists, however, unofficially verified their collaboration through Twitter, with Brown even hinting Rihanna is appearing on a remix of his recent single “Turn Up The Music.” Rihanna wrote: “They can say whatever, Ima do whatever... No pain is forever <-----YUP! YOU KNOW THIS”

Chris Brown then replied: “Let them be mad!!!! We make music. Don’t like it, don’t listen! Turn up the music remix is coming soon too! Guess who’s on it?”

At the end of the day yesterday, both collaborations surfaced – but unofficially. As Rihanna was celebrating her 24^th birthday on February 20, Chris Brown tweeted a link to their “Birthday Cake” collaboration. Afterwards, he wished the “We Found Love” singer a happy birthday. In response, Rihanna tweeted the remix of “Turn Up The Music” featuring her vocals. There’s no word whether the tracks will officially be released as singles, but if you haven’t had a chance to hear either yet, listen to the “Birthday Cake” and “Turn Up The Music” remixes here:

What do you think? While the Rihanna-featuring remix of “Turn Up The Music” is relatively benign, does “Birthday Cake” go too far?

Martin Gore, Depeche Mode’s long-time songwriter, keyboardist, and guitarist, decided to get back with the synthpop group’s original songwriter, Vince Clarke, earlier in 2011. While Gore discussed it in an interview with Billboard in July, at the time Depeche Mode’s second remix collection, Remix 2: 81-11, came out, the two announced it in November, releasing a 10-track techno album SSSS under name VCMG. Nevertheless, Gore hasn’t put his long-time group behind him and, in discussing his side project with The Quietus, revealed Depeche Mode has started work on their 13^th studio album.

VCMG gave Gore a new perspective and change of pace, which reinvigorated his duties for Depeche Mode. In the interview, he said: "I think I went back to actually writing for the band with much more vigour afterwards, because I had taken such a break. It gave me a real creative impetus."

The songwriter went on to say: "I went straight from finishing the VCMG record into writing for the band. I think even though I used a lot of the same kind of instrumentation, I immediately went into a completely different headspace. The stuff I've been doing for the band is completely different to VCMG."

Gore goes onto explain that the next Depeche Mode LP will not have a techno sound. He elaborated, saying: "Working on the VCMG record, obviously I didn't look at a guitar for that whole period because it just wasn't right - so the moment I started getting back to writing songs for the band then I'm picking up the guitar, I'm going on the piano, working on chords, just working completely differently."

Although Gore provided only basic details on the work for Depeche Mode’s upcoming album, he did indicate the full group is going into the studio at the end of March. In the meantime, SSSS comes out on March 12 on Mute.

Earlier in February, Adam Lambert was reported to be performing with Queen at the upcoming Sonisphere Festival. After all, the news made sense. Lambert sang with Queen in the American Idol finals in 2009 and then again at the MTV European Music Awards in November 2011, and the band’s members expressed interest in working with the “For Your Entertainment” singer again.

But, while Lambert denied the earlier reports, he confirmed it on Twitter today. This afternoon, the American Idol runner up tweeted: "As many suspected, I can finally confirm: I have been invited by Queen to sing one very special concert! Sonisphere at Knebworth July 7th! Sorry to be coy about the details the past few weeks, but I made a promise to keep it under wraps as best I could. Gonna be a surreal night!"

At the time English newspaper Daily Star reported Lambert was singing at Sonisphere with Queen, he responded on Twitter, explaining that the writer took his quote out of context and, in fact, was describing his European Music Awards performance. In response to the story, Lambert wrote on Twitter: “Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta context.... I haven't confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA'S. That being said, I'm truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions mr journalist!! :)"

Aside from performing with Queen, Glambert is preparing for his upcoming sophomore album, Trespass. Considered a more personal album, Trespass is said to combine disco with Nine Inch Nails-type sounds and, unlike his hits-driven debut, is better geared toward the dance floor. “Better Than I Know Myself,” the first single, already dropped in December, and the full release is expected to hit stores in March. Dr. Luke, Pharrell Williams, Benny Blanco, and Bruno Mars assisted with songwriting and production duties, while, to communicate his vision, Lambert additionally served as executive producer.

Not long after his Grammys performance with the Foo Fighters, Deadmau5 released another track, titled “maths.” Released through Ultra Music/mau5trap on February 17, “maths” sticks with the crescendo structure of “Strobe” while displaying traces of dubstep.  

To fans, however, “maths” isn’t entirely new material. The track was part of the producer’s North American Meowingtons Hax Tour setlist and can be heard on his recent live DVD. Swedish House Mafia, in recently taking over Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, also added “maths” to their tracklist.

Deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman) earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording for “Raise Your Weapon,” which competed alongside tracks by Skrillex, Robyn, and David Guetta and Avicii. While Skrillex, who opted out of performing, took home the most EDM-related awards, the Canadian producer pranked the dubstep DJ on the red carpet by wearing a T-shirt displaying Skrillex’s personal cell phone number along with statement “u mad bro?” Twitter, however, showed Skrillex took the joke in stride.

After the ceremony, Deadmau5 headlined a post-Grammys concert. A fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the performance featured Rihanna, Calvin Harris, and Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso. With the “We Found Love” singer performing two tracks, the evening was primarily a DJ affair, with each going through lengthy setlists. More notably, Zimmerman removed his mask, the mau5head, briefly during his set.

In addition to his recent Meowingtons Hax Tour, Zimmerman was recently added to the lineup for Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, which, scheduled from June 23 to 24, also features Harris and Nero, along with other EDM artists. Zimmerman, on the other hand, is not part of other notable EDM event the Ultra Music Festival and openly expressed his displeasure with it through viral video released earlier in January.

After an album is released, how soon should a follow-up be? For the Black Keys, the sooner, the better. El Camino, their latest, came out less than three months ago, and the duo is already plotting a follow-up. No actual recording has started, however.

Currently on the road in support of the Black Keys’ latest release, Dan Auerbach told Billboard a follow-up is in the works and that they’ll be hitting the studio at some point in 2012. He said: “We won't know 'til we get in there. We don't get to practice together on the road. We're always trying to write and keep ideas going, but where we're most comfortable is in the studio. I can't wait to get back in there."

A studio, for the Black Keys, is a variable concept. Although Auerbach’s Nashville studio Easy Eye Studio has experienced increased traffic, it’s not the sole location for the band. Instead, Auerbach explained: "But Pat [Carney] and I, we can record anywhere -- basements, abandoned buildings, studios. Location doesn't matter. All that matters is that it's Pat and I."

As far as the sound goes for their eight studio album, Auerbach says they don’t have a clear idea, as of yet.

Greater visibility from El Camino and its predecessor have resulted in bigger venues and larger stages for the Black Keys, Auerbach explained to Billboard. As a result, they have adjusted the visual aspects of their stage to take up the space. Unlike other groups who focus on current material, they have aimed to play songs from each album in their sets.

While currently in Europe, the duo is scheduled soon for the North American leg of their tour. After, they’ll return to Europe and then head off to Australia, while simultaneously starting the recording process.

The Black Sabbath reunion tour, featuring all four original members, dissolved before it even started. Back in November, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and Geezer Butler announced plans for a tour and new studio album – their first since 1978 with Osbourne. In January, however, Iommi revealed his struggle with lymphoma and, to make a full recovery, dropped out of the tour. As a result, the dates have turned into Ozzy & Friends appearances, with the exception of Black Sabbath’s performance at the Download Festival in June.

The 15-date Ozzy & Friends tour features the Black Sabbath frontman with special guests at each date, including Slash, Butler, and Zakk Wylde.

Aside from Iommi, Ward additionally threatened to leave the group, stating he wouldn’t participate without a definite contract. On his website, Ward wrote: "I have not declined to participate in the Sabbath album and tour. At the earliest opportunity, I am prepared to go to the U.K. and record, and later tour with the band. Last week, we sent further communication to the attorney handling the negotiations to try to reach an agreement. At this time we are waiting to hear back. I remain hopeful for a 'signable' contract and a positive outcome."

Although a full tour is no longer a possibility, a studio album is still expected, with producer Rick Rubin, the force behind the Sabbath reunion, at the mixing helm.

In the fall, John Mayer announced, through his blog, that throat surgery for a granuloma would delay his upcoming album Born and Raised. Since that point, Mayer previewed part of the album and, last week, released its first single, the stripped-down, country-tinged “Shadow Days.” Lyrically, the song alludes to his infamous Playboy interview.

Linking to the track through his Tumblr, Mayer accompanied it with the following message: “Here’s a clip of the first single off Born and Raised, called ‘Shadow Days.’ I’m excited to share the first bit of sound from the album… Been looking forward to a post like this since October 14, 2010, the first day I started writing this group of songs. Enjoy.”

Born and Raised is expected to hit stores at some point in 2012. During the time he took off from recording, Mayer apparently learned lap steel guitar, which may be incorporated onto the album. His custom Martin guitar, the 00-45SC John Mayer Edition, is part of the foundation for Born and Raised, and about its – and the album’s – sound, he said at the guitar’s debut: "organic cowboy guitar sounds. […] What would it sound like if I wrote an album of cowboy songs on this guitar under the stars?"

Mayer, along with Elton John, also helped Adele get through her recent vocal cord surgery. The “Someone Like You” singer and Mayer had their procedures roughly around the same time in 2011, and as the Grammys showed, both have recovered. As the result of, first, acute laryngitis and then two vocal cord hemorrhages, Adele had to cancel tour dates last year, just as Mayer postponed recording for Born and Raised.

Reports of Rihanna discreetly seeing Chris Brown have surfaced over the past few months, including being spotted at the “We Found Love” singer’s birthday celebration after the Grammys. But, their contact, according to recent news, appears to go beyond reconciliation. Last week, MTV News reported that producers Da Internz were remixing Rihanna track “Birthday Cake,” fleshing it out from its mere 78 seconds of suggestiveness. They revealed the track will have a “shocking” guest appearance – which was hypothesized to be Chris Brown.

Kosine told MTV: "We got the Rihanna 'Birthday Cake' coming out in a week.”

His production partner Tuo added: "It's gonna be crazy.”

Kosine then said: "And the feature on there is gonna shock the world.”

Later, Kosine went on to say: "All I'm gonna say is stay tuned — it's dropping [this] week."

MissInfo.tv responded to Da Internz’s statements by confirming Brown’s appearance from two independent sources. Brown, who had been seen leaving the same Hollywood recording studio as Rihanna the week before, is reportedly singing one verse and rapping a second on “Birthday Cake.”

Tweets from the two go on to solidify suspicions. Somewhat cryptically, Rihanna wrote: “They can say whatever, Ima do whatever... No pain is forever <-----YUP! YOU KNOW THIS”

Rihanna may additionally be appearing on a remix of Brown’s recent “Turn Up The Music,” whose video debuted on Friday. Brown, in another response, said: “Let them be mad!!!! We make music. Don’t like it, don’t listen! Turn up the music remix is coming soon too! Guess who’s on it?”

By yesterday, however, Rihanna was reportedly shelving the “Birthday Cake” remix. Considering Da Internz stated the remix is scheduled to appear over the next week, listeners will have to wait and see if the traffic surfaces – or not.

Has Blink-182 really been around for 20 years? Although the trio started garnering mainstream visibility in the late 1990s, they formed in 1992 and released their first full-length album, Cheshire Cat, in ’94 through independent label Cargo. Now, the group plans to commemorate their 20^th anniversary with a 37-date world tour, which kicks off in May.

2011 was a comeback, of sorts, for Blink-182. After an eight-year hiatus, they put out Neighborhoods, which has a far darker tone than all previous releases. The immaturity of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was left behind, as first single “Up All Night” showed.

In discussing Neighborhoods, bassist Mark Hoppus told Billboard in the fall: "I couldn't write a happy song for this record."

Hoppus goes onto mention the album could have had a darker tone. Nevertheless, Neighborhoods debuted toward the top of the Billboard 200. Its inception, on the other hand, took a few years – unlike their recorded-in-a-few-days debut. After reuniting in 2009, all three members recorded tracks between touring – Blink-182’s comeback tour and various smaller side project endeavors – primarily in their home studios. The late Jerry Finn was behind the mixing desk for their previous works, but without him, the group essentially self-produced Neighborhoods.

Jane’s Addiction started their comeback in 2011, releasing new album The Great Escape Artist after an eight-year hiatus. Now that they’re actively touring, the group plans to put together a follow-up of new material. In speaking with Billboard, drummer Stephen Perkins discussed Jane’s Addiction’s possible career moves regarding a new album. Although they have yet to hit a recording studio, the quartet has been toying with possible song ideas.

There’s no concrete strategy for a follow-up to The Great Escape Artist. Perkins, however, said: "But we are talking about music, so that's important. When we commit to a record, we know it's going to take a long time to make it right, so if we're going to do it, we want to make sure everyone's got the time to put into it, so we'll see. It's not easy getting to that point."

Like many groups, Jane’s Addiction has ideas left on the cutting room floor, but Perkins doesn’t want these scraps to be the jumping point or inspiration for a new release, citing Van Halen as an example of the returning-to-older-demos approach. He stated: "I think it's always a wrong idea to do that, 'cause hopefully you're different musicians and the world has changed. It's always good to do something new to see what you've been through the last year and reflect that.”

With three North American tour legs scheduled, Jane’s Addiction starts the first on February 22 in St. Louis and will hit the European festivals over the summer. Australia is also on the itinerary, as is Lollapalooza in Brazil. On the other hand, the group is likely not playing at the Chicago date for the popular festival.

Currently on the road, Perkins and his bandmates have found seven or eight tracks from The Great Escape Artist that work well in setlists and are returning to older material at the same time. About this, he remarked to the magazine: “[T]o actually have all this new music...and committing to each other to go on tour for a year and make it work and take those songs to another level is really why we exist as a band, you know?"

These days, most news about Beyonce involves Blue Ivy Carter. But, the singer made her first public appearance two weeks ago since giving birth and even announced a remix competition for 4 track “End of Time.” Nevertheless, Bey was rumored to be working on a new album just a few months ago, and now songwriter Ryan Tedder, behind “Halo,” provided more information in an interview with The BoomBox. At this point, a new album from the singer is likely to happen .

Speaking with the website, Tedder mentioned pitching songs to her about parenthood. Then, he revealed: "The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening. All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in."

The untitled album is expected to be in the same experimental vein as 4, which fans were less receptive to. On this note, Tedder then added: "She's not interested in 2012, [she's interested in] what's [going to sound good for] 2013. Without question she steers the ship. [With] Beyonce, you just let her go, she's ridiculous, she's the best."

Although Tedder appears to confirm a fifth album for the singer, what’s the second project? While not clear at the moment, a remix album, according to Us Weekly, is supposedly in the works. Perhaps the result from the “End of Time” remix competition will end up on there.

Although a source told Us Weekly Beyonce has been enjoying her time off, The-Dream believes the singer will continue to work just as hard on her new album. In December, the producer told The BoomBox: "She's ready to work. She's crazy! She never stops doing anything. I don't know if [pregnancy] is going to slow her down. She's just incredible with doing things, I don't know how she's going to do it, she's just a maniac... in a good way."

News of a new Green Day album has circulated around since the summer, but the band appears to have entered the recording studio – at least if Bille Joe Armstrong’s Twitter is to be believed. Breaking the news to fans, he tweeted: "Happy Valentine's Day! Officially started recording the new record today. It's F--- TIME!!!!"

News outlets have taken this remark as a surefire indicator Green Day went back to the studio on February 14. MTV, on the other hand, points out the “F---” could indicate side project Foxboro Hot Tubs, and rather than putting together a follow-up release to 2009’s 21^st Century Breakdown, they simply may be laying down parts for Foxboro.

Throughout 2011, the group began rolling out new material – all of which could possibly end up on an album. Or, it could simply end up as B-sides or live album filler. In August, the trio did a secret show—Armstrong announced it at the last minute on Twitter – at the Tiki Bar 1700 in Costa Mesa, Calif. Playing to a small crowd, Green Day introduced 15 new tracks, including a tribute to Amy Winehouse simply titled “Amy.” The band urged fans to forego recording, but new material still ended up on YouTube.

At the time, Armstrong said on Twitter: "We have been [sic] in jamming and writing new songs for the last few months. It felt great to play these new Green Day songs live and share our 'work in progress'.. Stay tuned for more!"

Then, Armstrong and co. did a second last-minute show at the 300-capacity Webster Hall in New York around Halloween. Considered a test of new material for the album, the group presented more polished tracks. The Halloween show, as well, is being documented as part of the album’s recording process.

Fans should expect the unexpected with Justin Bieber’s third studio album Believe. One aspect, courtesy of producers and guest artists, is a greater dance vibe. RedOne, who has worked with Lady Gaga, described recording a new track with Justin Bieber and Far East Movement, the dance group behind hit “Like a G6.” The producer mentioned to MTV: "The Bieber thing, I don't know if I'm allowed to mention it right now, but ... I did a few songs with Far East Movement, and one of the songs ... to me, it's a smash."

A track with Far East Movement isn’t the only indication of a potential dance sound, however. The teen pop star was rumored recently to be recording with Ke$ha. On the other hand, the list of possible collaborators also skews toward hip-hop and R&B. While Drake has already been confirmed, and admitted to recording a track already with the Biebs, genre heavyweights like Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams are potentially on board.

The “Baby” singer, on the other hand, hasn’t given many details – just periodic updates through his Twitter account. He told fans last week: “In studio finishing this single. would write some of my lyrics here but dont want anymore people stealing them for songs. this be mine. Lol”

A single release, he also announced, is imminent, although neither track nor release date has been revealed.

In addition to Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun praising the singer’s maturing, RedOne delivered similar sentiments in describing his recording sessions with the teen singer, considering him a “real artist.” He added: "He's very positive and he's an amazing singer. Amazing everything! He's Justin Bieber. He's a sensation. I think he's becoming a man with his voice. He's an incredible singer.”

Since the news was reported yesterday, Red Foo of LMFAO premiered part of the track, called “Live My Life,” in a DJ set. Hear it here:

Thirty-four year old singer Robin Thicke was reportedly arrested in New York City after he was found to be in possession of marijuana, according to Access Hollywood.  Hanging out in Manhattan on East 21^st Street, cops approached the son of actor Alana Thicke and singer Gloria Loring after they discovered him smoking a joint per reports.

"He wasn't driving," a police source told the media. "He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him."  There was another unknown individual in the black Cadillac Escalade with Thicke, but that person was not arrested.

The father of a one year old son named Julian with actress Paula Patton, Robin is said to have been “given a desk appearance ticket and released.”  Thicke was only held for 15 minutes before signing autographs for the staff.   Additional details regarding Thicke’s arrest is unclear as of late.  The R&B artist’s camp has yet to make a comment on the matter.

Months back, New York’s Power 105.1 spoke with Thicke, asking him about past drug rumors.  He replied, “Oh gosh, let’s just put it this way, I’ve never met a drug that I didn’t like.  But when the baby shows up, you gotta focus [on that]. Baby first.”

Thicke boasts five studio records to date.  The crooner has also produced and written music for singer Christina Aguilera, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, and more.

Singer Gavin DeGraw is rumored to be a part of the upcoming fourteenth season of the dance competition 'Dancing with the Stars' that airs on the ABC Network.  The rumors of his possible participation came after DeGraw’s friend and front man of OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Tedder was walking the red carpet on February 12^th  at the Grammy Awards when he told THR that DeGraw could be a part of the series.  "Gavin DeGraw is doing Dancing with the Stars, I heard," Tedder shared. After sharing news regarding the artist's possible gig on 'Dancing with the Stars' he added, “he’s amazing. He’s one of my favorite male singers alive."

While the rocker’s talk of DeGraw joining the show is purely rumors and speculation at this point, we haven’t heard otherwise that the singer isn’t interested in competing on the dance show.

The duo most recently collaborated on DeGraw’s recent hit song ‘Not Over You’ and ‘Sweeter’.  The songs were part of Gavin’s fourth album released this past September 2011.  The singer is also scheduled to be part of the music competition web series, The OurStage Panel.

DeGraw will be a guest judge on the new series that just kicked off their second season this past February 16^th online with a line-up of yet to be signed musical artists.  This coming March the singer is also part of the 2012 Union Board spring concert.  Both DeGraw and country star David Nail are scheduled to perform on the 17th.

Cee-Lo Green has just announced the title of his next solo album, Everybody's Brother, and he also stated that the title of the next album with his other project, the hip-hop group Goodie Mob, will be Age Against The Machine.

And while he is involved with both these albums, Cee Lo is also one of the judges on NBC's The Voice, where he tries to coax contestants to be part of his "team". (The other "competing" judges are Adam Levine (front-man of Maroon5), Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton.)

These TV appearances have sparked even more interest in Cee-Lo's previous music. His manager Michael "Blue" Williams stated, "You've got young fans now discovering his older material for the first time, and some people revisiting it now."

Everybody's Brother is a follow up to The Lady Killer (the album from which came the international smash hit "Forget You!"). Green first became a world-wide sensation with the Gnarls Barkley hit "Crazy".

Cee-Lo recently also shared centre stage with Madonna at her super Bowl Half Time performance where he collaborated on the Material Girl's hits "Express Yourself" and "Like A Prayer".

Not doing things by halves, Cee-Lo also picked up two Grammy Awards last weekend for the song "Fool For You", a collaborative hit with Melanie Fiona. (The two Grammys collected were for "Best R&B Song" and "Best R&B Performance".)

Coming up soon will be Cee-Lo's European Concert Tour, during which he will appear for a single night in each of the selected European countries, beginning on 2nd April in Paris, doing a circuit around neighbouring countries and finishing on 10th April in Munich, Germany.

Cee-Lo Green (Gnarls Barkley) - Crazy

Artist Jack White has debuted his solo efforts with a new music video for his first single ‘Love Interruption’.  White, who left The White Stripes after their break-up back in February 2011, directed the music video himself. The new track comes off of his album 'Blunderbuss' that will be released on April 24^th in the US.  Proud over his efforts, White explained that Blunderbuss is "an album I couldn't have released until now. I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name."

White also shared that the song, and the rest of the tracks featured on his solo album were created from scratch.  "These songs [in the album] were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.”

Seen in the ‘Love Interruption’ video is White alongside Ruby Amanfu, who helps the singer out on vocals, performer Emily Bowland on bass clarinet, and Brooke Waggoner working the electric piano.  In promotion of Jack White’s new album due out in the next couple of months the singer will be playing several concerts as reported by Billboard.  Check out the list of performance dates below and Jack White’s ‘Love Interruption’ music video.

The Dave Matthews Band has announced that they are back at it again, working on a new album with the help of Steve Lillywhite, as confirmed by CBS News.  The producer helped Dave and the guys on their previous three studio albums as fans might remember, 'Under the Table and Dreaming', 'Crash', and 'Before These Crowded Streets'.

Details surrounding the album hasn’t been released, but since they're now back in the studio snippets of what the fourth album will entail should be on the way. Aside from the good news about the upcoming Dave Matthews Band album, the guys are also gearing up to hit the road soon on their North American Summer Tour.

So far supporting acts lined up for the Dave Matthews Band include the Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, Brandi Carlile, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Blind Pilot, Lettuce, SOJA,  Gary Clarke Jr., Allen Stone, Edward Sharpe, and the Magnetic Zeros, Fitz and the Tantrums, Delta Spirit, and Tower of Power.

They plan to kick off their string of visits in Woodlands, Texas on May 18^th, before making their way to locations such as Hartford, Mansfield, Saratoga Springs, West Palm Beach, Camden, and more.  From August 31^st through September 2^nd the band also plans to make a pit stop at The Gorge Amphitheatre for the Labor Day weekend.  They will also spend two nights on June 12th and 13th at the Nikon at Jones Beach. Their tour will wrap up on September 9th with one last gig in Mountain View, Washington.

Tickets go on sale to the public on March 9^th.

The small-town jam band festival that has now become one of the U.S.'s top live music gatherings, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has announced its line-up for the 11th annual that'll take place June 7-10 this year.

Manchester, Tennessee, about an hour southeast of Nashville, will become the state's 7th largest city for four days as they welcome recent Grammy winners Bon Iver, Skrillex and The Civil Wars, along with Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. True to its jam band origins, Phish will also headline.

Other bands that will be featured at the festival are The Beach Boys, Foster the People, Feist, Alice Cooper, Ludacris, Tune-Yards, the Shins, St. Vincent, Black Lips, SBTRKT, Flying Lotus, the Antlers, Kurt Vile, Das Racist, Battles, the War on Drugs, Mogwai, Bad Brains, Major Lazer, the Rooters, Yelawolf, Black Star, the Joy Formidable, Laura Marling, Here We Go Magic, and more. 

Past headliners have included Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Grateful Dead and Willie Nelson.

Tickets go on sale February 18th.
