Robbie Rivera Announces Juicy Beach 2013 Lineup

As appreciation of electronic music continues to grow in the United States, festivals and attendance are increasing. Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Beach party is one event to see such growth, and as an attraction during the Winter Music Conference in Miami since 2005, the show’s lineup was revealed over the past week.

Rivera and his wife and business partner Monica announced the news on January 15. Phase 1 for Juicy Beach 2013 is scheduled to include Bob Sinclar, Cosmic Gate, Moguai, Manufactured Superstars, Nari & Milani, Stefano Noferini, Manuel De La Mare, and Federico Scavo. More performers are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Rivera’s Juicy Beach has drawn A-list DJing and production talent, including members of Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5, and other well-known performers over the years. Its 17-hour sets, as well, bring in crowds of 5,500. Because of its growth, Juicy Beach is going on the road in North America for 2013. The tour, inspired by an appearance on Governors Island last summer, started on January 18 at Pacha NYC. The string of dates concludes on February 15 in Portland, Ore.

Tied into the event is a competition. The winner, however, won’t simply be an opener. He or she gets to play alongside Juicy Beach’s lineup and will have a track released through Rivera’s Juicy Music. The winner, announced on February 26, will additionally be promoted in the event’s materials.
