Randy Travis' Brother Arrested on Drug Charges

Sometimes, trouble is a family tradition and, in this case, that is definitely true.  David Traywick, the brother of Randy Travis (Travis is a stage name), was recently arrested and charged with drug possession after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  He was also charged with manufacturing a schedule II narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Pretty serious!

As if that isn’t bad enough, less than a month ago, Traywick was arrested for second degree trespassing and uttering threats.  

Maybe the younger sibling is struggling due to the poor example set by his famous big brother.

The country singer is dealing with his own legal troubles.  He was issued a citation for assault after getting into an altercation in a church parking lot right after being arrested for driving while intoxicated.  That story was pretty unbelievable because, not only did Travis allegedly threaten a cop but he also suffered only minor cuts and bruises in the crash that preceded his arrest. 

Earlier this year, he was also arrested for public drunkenness after the cops spotted him with an open bottle of wine outside of a different church.
