Radiohead Guitarist Reveals Plans for Next Album

The "Lotus Flowers" hitmakers will get together in September for recording new stuff. Radiohead Guitarist Reveals Plans for Next Album

Radiohead have announced that they intend to hit the studios for the recording of their next album later this year. The English rockers, who are notorious for taking lengthy breaks in between their albums, released their last disc titled "The Kings of Limbs" in 2011.

The quintet has since been working on their separate projects and their personal commitments have still not ended. However, they have decided to get together sometimes in September this year and develop some new stuff for their mutual project.

"We're taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together again [at the] end of the summer," the group's bassist Colin Greenwood recently told the press.

The group's lead singer Thom Yorke is currently working with experimental rock supergroup "Atoms for Peace" and their first album "Amok" is set to come out later this month.

"Radiohead" did reunite briefly last summer for their appearance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and also recorded a new song at "The Raconteurs" guitarist Jack White's studio in Nashville, Tennessee.

When asked to comment on the quality of the track, White said: "I love it. So I hope that's gonna come out soon. It's up to Radiohead. I don't know where they're at with it."
