Prince’s Only UK Show Will be at the Hop Farm Festival in Kent
The organisers of the Hop Farm Festival in Kent have announced that Prince will join other big names such as The Eagles, Morrissey, Bryan Ferry, Brandon Flowers, Carl Barat, Iggy And The Stooges and Lou Reed.
This will be the only UK show Prince will play in 2011, and together with The Eagles and Morrissey are headliners on their respective days.
Prince is also playing in Poland, at the Opener Festival which to date is his only other European appearance in 2011.
Though Prince's last albums have not been well received by critics, he continues to be a favourite with fans, who greatly admire his approach, song writing and live performances. The man's mix of styles and muscianship has given him legendary status in the popular music world.
More bands and artist are expected to play the festival, and the organisers will keep everyone informed as more are booked.

Prince has recently been sued for around 700,000 for not appearing for an Irish concert. One hopes history will not repeat itself and the musical genius woos the crowd at the Hop Farm Festival.
