Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder Gets Sirius Radio Show

The frontman will be showcasing the music that has influenced him over the years. Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder Gets Sirius Radio Show

SiriusXM Radio is adding a limited-run show to the Pearl Jam Radio channel’s lineup.  The Eddie Vedder Show will premiere tomorrow, December 5, 2012 at 5pm ET and will feature the band’s frontman playing some of his “all-time favorite songs, from early punk rock influences to unreleased material from his personal archives.”

It’s pretty cool for anyone who has been a fan of the singer since he will also be talking about musicians, both past and present, who have inspired him and will also share personal stories from his incredible career that has spanned more than two decades.

This is reminiscent of the “Sound City” show that Dave Grohl will be hosting.  The former member of Nirvana and Foo Fighters will also take on a limited-run show and will be sharing stories about the famous recording studio.

SiriusXM president Scott Greenstein is correct in assuming that their “listeners will enjoy hearing” this show.  If anyone is interested but misses it, the broadcast will be available on SiriusXM on Demand online or on the mobile app.
