"Outta My Head" Video Review

Ashlee Simpson's new album, Color Outside the Lines will be out soon, but we've already got your first taste right here. "Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)" is the first single from the upcoming Ashlee Simpson album due out in March, 2008.

Directed by Alan Ferguson, Simpson filmed the music video for the song on December 6–7. In an interview with Billboard, she described it as having surrealist influences, mentioning Salvador Dali and Being John Malkovich. Her boyfriend Pete Wentz described it as "probably the weirdest video I've seen of hers" and said that it, like the song, "has this kind of multiple personality".

Simpson described the video as being "ambitious" and "like an art piece" and said that it involves going into "another world and never know[ing] what's real".

She's even teamed up with Timbaland for this track. Check out the first single, "Outta My Head," and tell us — love it or leave it?
