One Direction Already Working on New Album

One Direction already scored a hit stateside with “What Makes You Beautiful,” and they’re already planning a new album. The group’s Niall Horan tweeted twice recently about their activity in the studio. He wrote first: "great day soo far in the studio! got some crackin tunes on the way!.. its been a while since we've been in the studio..great t be back."

Then, talking about sounds fans could hear on their current tour, he said: “Another amazing day in studio with rami,carl and @savan_kotecha , got some sick tunes for next album, and for you to hear worldwide on tour.”

On the other hand, recent news points to a possible changing of One Direction – or at least a potential new direction. An anonymous source told gossip rag Daily Star that Harry Styles may be going solo. Apparently, Styles flew to Los Angeles without the rest of the band to talk deals for a solo project. The source said: "Harry has stacks of fans in America, it’s safe to say they absolutely love him. He’s been offered a big solo project, so he flew out to Los Angeles without the rest of the boy band.

“He’s been in America filming something. It may have been an advert or a film – I can’t say exactly what – but it’s worth a lot of money."

New album or lineup change aside, One Direction is starting a headlining stateside tour at the end of May, just the day before their concert DVD Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD hits stores.
