"Nine In The Afternoon" Video Review

Panic At The Disco returns this spring without the exclamation point and with their sophomore album "Pretty. Odd.", and the first single "Nine In The Afternoon".

The single has just been released to many alternative and pop radio stations and is beginning to pick up radio play.

"Nine in the Afternoon" is enjoyable in a bouncy, skip-down-the-sidewalk kind of way. Something about it — maybe the piano-strings-horns combination — makes us think of musical theater.

The colorfully surreal video for the song only helps along this idea, as it has a larger-than-life vibrancy that I associate with stage and movie musicals.
