Nicole Scherzinger Shows "Your Love" to Lead Into New Album
Nicole Scherzinger has been putting together a follow-up to 2011's Killer Love. While little is known, the former Pussycat Dolls singer started promoting it this week with a new track called "Your Love."
Scherzinger teased the track first with a clip sent through Instagram. The song arrived with some photos of the X Factor judge in the studio.
Not long after, the full version appeared online. Like her debut, this track indicates more of a dance music turn for the pop star.
Killer Love wasn't Scherzinger's first studio album. For those not following her career, a solo release called Her Name Is Nicole had been in the works as early as 2005. Many demos later and with nothing to show for it, the project was scrapped.
As well, Killer Love wasn't released in the U.S. A reworked version, with new tracks and guest appearances, had been announced, but nothing every materialized. It has been rumored that her sophomore release, still untitled, may be her first solo disc in the U.S.
Killer Love resulted in five singles: "Poison," "Don't Hold Your Breath," "Right There," "Wet," and "Try With Me." The release peaked at No. 8 on the U.K. Album Chart.
"Your Love" comes out officially in July. Listen to the track in full here:
