Nick Lachey Has Become a Father!

It’s a boy!  Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa, are parents!  The couple have confirmed the wonderful news and issued a statement: “We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey.”

The baby was born on September 12, 2012 at 6:54 p.m., weighted in at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and was 21 inches long.  Good sized baby! 

The couple announced the pregnancy back in March and then 31-year-old Wipeout host, Vanessa, revealed that she was carrying a boy. 

Just last month, 38-year-old Nick told People that he was inexplicably excited and that he has wanted a family for so long.  Prior to this relationship, Nick was married to Jessica Simpson, who recently gave birth to her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew, with fiancé, Eric Johnson. 

Nick and Vanessa seem really happy together so hopefully they take the time to enjoy every moment of their time with their new baby.

The couple have been married since July 2011.
