Nick Cannon Celebrates 32nd Birthday with Family

Things may not be going well for Mariah Carey on "American Idol" due to her feud with fellow judge Nicki Minaj, but she wouldn't let it ruin the important moments of her personal life. The occasion was her hubby Nick Cannon's 32^nd birthday and even though he was born on October 8, the celebrations in the Carey household had started a couple of days in advance.

"On to the party! Happy birthday @nickcannon!" the "We Belong Together" singer tweeted on Sunday and accompanying her message was an instagram photo of the couple. Cannon can be seen wearing a party hat, while his missus is sitting on his lap.

Before that, she had posted another picture of the birthday boy sitting on a sofa and posing for the camera. The caption to that image was: "My hubby on his birthday fest!"

Instead of throwing a lavish party like most of the celebrities usually do on such occasions, Carey and Cannon chose to spend the weekend with their young family. They took their eighteen-month-old twins Monroe and Moroccan to a theme park on Los Angeles' Santa Monica pier, where they posed for pictures and also chatted with their fans.
