The Queen B, aka Lil Kim, is making her way back. On Christmas, Lil Kim recently released an uber-glam promotional photo of herself through her Twitter account. The photograph showcases her in a fluffy all-black leotard and matching feathery heels, and is quite suspenseful, mentioning “Lil Kim” and “2012" in bold print.

Kim commented on the picture by giving a heartfelt thank you to her photographer, Mike Antonio, and to her fans.

Fueled by the positive fan responses his recently released mixtape, The Big 10, and viral music videos have gotten, rapper 50 Cent is now making a public ultimatum to his Interscope record label and label head Jimmy Iovine, with whom he is fed up about the continued delay of his newest album, to release the LP or else. The battle-happy rapper has also been publicly feuding about the renegotiation about his deal with said record label, yet to be determined.

Kanye West’s unofficial spokesman, rapper Big Sean, has announced that his mentor and peer is almost done working on his G.O.O.D. Music album. According to the Detroit rapper, the finished project will showcase a collective gathering of G.O.O.D. Music artists. Sean added that the album should be in stores in the spring, while his sophomore album will follow in the summer.

MTV will be ringing in the new year with “NYE in NYC 2012,” which will be hosted by Demi Lovato and Tyler Posey. The show will include some of music’s biggest stars, including J. Cole, Selena Gomez and Jason Derulo, who plans to give an exciting performance from his recent album, Future History.

"I'll be doing “It Girl”' and “Don't Wanna Go Home,” a medley of the two," Derülo said to MTV News. "[There will] be a lot of high-energy dancing."

Kings of Leon’s front man Caleb Followill and his wife Lily Aldridge are expecting their first baby. The Victoria Secrets model is reportedly three months along. Making the announcement just days ago, the couple shared their happiness over becoming parents for the first time, as confirmed by People Magazine.

LMFAO’s Redfoo got a little too hot during a concert at Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

According to TMZ, Redfoo was in the middle of a DJ set when the building’s electrical system caught on fire. He narrowly escaped to tell the tale.

"All of a sudden, right in the middle of 'Beatockin,' my manager Ian Fletcher shouted, 'There's a fire under the stage. We have to go!'" Redfoo said to MTV News. He added, "I didn't want to go."

"I didn't realize how serious it was," he said. "The security escorted us out the venue. We were forced to leave a few items behind, nothing irreplaceable. I hope everybody is safe.
