If you're looking for variety, this is a great week to add new music to your collection. New Music Releases: November 27, 2012

This week, there are some really great albums to choose from.  There is Alicia Keys’ highly anticipated fifth effort, music that is great for the whole family, something good to rock out to and a revamped version of a popular holiday album.

Girl on Fire (Alicia Keys) – With a title inspired by Olympic gold-medalist, Gabrielle Douglas, Keys is releasing her fifth studio album.  The fourteen-time Grammy-winning singer/songwriter aims to recreate her past success by delivering an album packed with powerful anthems and insightful ballads.

Glee: The Music - Season 4 Vol 1 (Glee Cast) – Any Gleeks in the house?  If so, you might want to snatch up this great collection of performances that features covers of hit songs including “Give Your Heart a Break,” “Live While We’re Young” and even “Gangnam Style.”

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (Carter Burwell) – After all of the hype and anticipation, the final instalment in the Twilight series is already in theaters and fans have definitely made their presence known. This soundtrack is a great addition to any collection whether you’re on Team Edward or Team Jacob.

XX (20th Anniversary Edition Deluxe Box Set) (Rage Against the Machine) – This is a great box set commemorating two decades of music from an incredible band.  The set includes CD 1 (the original album, remastered with bonus material), CD 2 (original demo tape from 1991), DVD 1 (historic free concert at Finsbury Park in 2010), DVD 2 (live performance from 1991-1994) and new liner notes penned by Chuck D.

Now That’s What I Call Disney (various artists) – Shopping for a Disney fan this holiday season?  This compilation of tracks would make a fabulous gift!  The album features memorable songs from popular movies including Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story and more.

Christmas: Special Edition (Michael Bublé) – The Canadian crooner’s holiday album did so well last year that he’s decided to release a special edition that includes three additional tracks - "Winter Wonderland", "Frosty the Snowman" and "Silver Bells."
