New Kids on The Block Release New Single
Talk about 1990s nostalgia. Not only did New Kids on the Block tour with the Backstreet Boys in recent years, they released a new single on January 27. Maintaining their familiar harmonies and character without sounding too dated, the boy band that found success in the late 1980s and early ‘90s digitally put out “Remix (I Like The).”
The track, however, debuted last week on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and foreshadows new material on their upcoming album, simply titled 10, due on April 2.
If you have yet to hear the track and want to hear what New Kids on the Block now sound like, listen below:
The love for all things ‘90s doesn’t end here, however. Announced last week, NKOTB are doing another tour – one they’re headlining, this time. The Package Tour additionally features other notable boy groups from the decade, including Boys II Men and 98 Degrees, as openers. The dates begin on May 31 and last through July.
While the tour isn’t the only time NKOTB have sang together recently, it’s the first tour in over a decade for 98 Degrees. About the tour, New Kids member Donnie Wahlberg said: “Ladies, we’re coming for you. This is going to be the craziest year yet — the single, the album, the tour with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men … We can’t wait to give fans ‘The Package!’”
