Philadelphia native Sterling Simms is a new R&B singer on Def Jam. Sterling, who first made a name for himself as a songwriter, moved to Atlanta when he was 15, and says the change in scenery did him a lot of good. "Living in Atlanta was one of the best things for my music," he said. "I always tell people, Philly made me into a man, but Atlanta made me into an artist.”
