"Myspace Freak" Video Review
Multi-platinum producer Jazze Pha (OutKast, Ciara, Nelly, Ludacris,) lends his "Midas touch" to C-Side’s first single and video "MySpace Freak." The single has already generated a huge buzz on the Internet.
Providing the element of the "Snap" and "Lean-Back" beats alongside memorable lyrics, the intellectual and witty wordplay relates to MySpace users everywhere, proving the frenzy amongst its listeners, both locally and internationally.
Defining "freak" as "someone who takes something, anything and goes a little too far with it," the concept of "MySpace Freak" involves the site's popularity, with over 100 million users to date.
A mainstay in Atlanta's underground hip-hop community, C-Side (an acronym for Creative Superb Individuals Doing Entertainment) is comprised of South Carolina native Bo-Q; Chicagoan Gator; and Atlanta resident (and hit-making producer in his own right), Kenny Kold.
Kenny previously produced hit records for the leaders of the "snap music" movement; platinum-selling Southern rap group, Dem Franchize Boyz, Pimp C (UGK), and 12 Gauge. The group recently signed with Atlanta-based 17.20 Records – a joint venture with the Peachtree Music Group.
