The Shins - Turn on Me Song Review

The Shins release their next single Turn On Me in a few weeks on September 3rd (via Transgressive). The track is lifted from Wincing The Night Away - the band's third (and hugely successful) album.

The video is a series of simplistic close-ups featuring an old man by a pool, an old lady tanning herself in a bikini, a one-eyed chihuahua, and some guy in a hard hat with a killer moustache. While it`s hard to pick up on any sort of obvious storyline at first, these intense close-ups are juxtaposed against each other in a collection of vivid clips.

The video is completely devoid of any Shins members as they are currently touring the globe (most notably, our lovely land Down Under), but still fits in perfectly with the rest of the Shins` video catalogue.
