Take That - Rule The World Song Review

Take That have named their next single Rule The World, an appropriate title for the band behind one of the biggest comebacks in pop history. The song was originally written by the band to be the theme song for the fantasy film Stardust. The song features Gary Barlow on lead vocals.

Interestingly it was not Matthew Vaughn; the director of Stardust who contacted the band to write the song, but Take That themselves who offered their help to write the theme song for the film. After watching Stardust, the band liked it so much that they wrote the song straight away on the same day.

The music video had its premiere on September 22, 2007. It features the band and various musicians appearing to record the song, including scenes from the film Stardust which the song features in. The video was shot at Abbey Road Studios.
