"Party People" is a song by rapper Nelly, scheduled to be the second single released from his fifth studio album "Brass Knuckles".
The single features pop/R&B singer Fergie. The meant-for-the-club track is produced by Polow Da Don. The video was directed by Marc Webb.
The song was originally intended for Fergie's album The Dutchess, but was pulled from that album because her record lable considered the track to be "too street" for her image. In yet another (see Love in This Club) example of Polow Da Don releasing tracks or beats before they were intended, he played the track for Nelly who immediately decided that he wanted to use the beat.
