Leona Lewis - Run Song Review

"Run" is Snow Patrol's song which is recorded for their third studio album "Final Straw" (2003). The track is then covered by Leona for the deluxe edition of her 2007 debut effort "Spirit", which has hit the U.K. market since November 17.

Since her stunning performance on the X Factor, both Leona and her record label have been inundated with requests from fans to release "Run" as a single. Originally, the song had not been planned as a single release but due to the phenomenal response from the public it will be made available.

Leona shot the video for the track in Cape Town, South Africa with Jake Nava as director. Lewis herself described the setting of the video as "an enchanted, haunted forest."

Snow Patrol guitarist Nathan Connolly admitted in November that he still hadn't heard the song: "Nothing against her, but I don't know if I'm going to endorse it either. It is what it is."
